郭俊麟今年代表中華隊參加世界12強棒球賽表現出色，今天(18日)也再傳出好消息，獲得日本職棒西武隊的續約，據傳年薪也有所提升。
日本媒體今天報導，西武球團與郭俊麟續約，因為雙方本就是複數年合約，經紀人張家銘表示這只是程序上的動作。
郭俊麟在世界12強投得很精彩，尤其是對戰波多黎各隊之戰，只休息3天的不利狀況之下，先發8局失1分狂飆10次三振。
西武總經理渡邊久信，當天在洲際球場全程觀看郭俊麟的傑出先發，看到激動之處還鼓掌叫好。
郭俊麟今年薪水1200萬日幣，有日本媒體推測，郭俊麟明年將加薪至1800萬到3000萬日幣，對此張家銘表示，「日媒推測的不予回應，一切以球團公布為主。」
